Back after a while…

I joined BuddySlim a few months ago, but after a few days of diligently logging in I just kind of lost motivation and stopped. Since then I’ve been making excuses for not coming back (I just broke up, school is stressful, I don’t have time), but that’s silly.

I think I’m convined that I can’t change, and so I don’t really try. I know that’s stupid–I’ve made positive changes in a lot of other areas of my life, money, time management etc–but somehow food seems especially hard.

So I want to commit to coming back here, logging every day and tracking what I eat (starting with the pizza and chocolate today…), and weighing in every week (haven’t even stepped on a scale for the past 2 months). That’s all for now, I can make bigger changes later.

I’d love some buddies to kick me in the butt occasionally as I try and do this :)

Hello everyone!

I’m new here and am looking for some buddies!

I’m a biology student, just starting grad school in Massachusetts.

I’ve struggled with eating issues since high school…every time I’m stressed out I come up with a different bad way to eat (crash dieting, binging…).  Right now school stress is making me eat like there was no tomorrow, and the pounds have started to creep up.  I have about 10-15 pounds to lose (pretty much all of it gained in the two months), and more importantly I’d like to learn how to eat well and take care of myself, rather than yoyo-ing like I have in the past.
